October 5, 2022, marked the first annual Ohio March for Life. Thousands of Ohioans, who stand for life, gathered on the west lawn of the Ohio Statehouse to show their support for a fully pro-life Ohio. Right to Life of Stark County was represented by a busload of 43 pro-lifers from many parishes in Stark County. We were honored to hear from many speakers and guests including: Jeanne Mancini, President of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund, Representative Jena Powell, Ohio District 80, His Excellency Bishop David Bonnar from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown , Ruth Cabrera-Henriquez, who lives in Ohio and chose life for her baby even though she was pressured to have an abortion, Margie Christie, the President of the Right to Life Action Coalition in Ohio, Pastor David Forbes of the Columbus Christian Center, Dr. Alveda King of Alveda King Ministries, Aaron Baer, the President of the Center for Christian Virtue, Peter Range, the Executive Director of Ohio Right to Life, and Damascus Worship. We want to thank everyone who made this event possible and also all of our supporters. We look forward to continuing our efforts until every human life is protected.
